    Shanghai Disneyland Resort, located in the Shanghai International Tourism and Resort Zone, is the first Disneyland resort in mainland China and the sixth resort in the world after California Disneyland resort, Orlando Walt Disney World resort, Tokyo Disneyland resort, Paris Disneyland resort and Hong Kong Disneyland resort. Shanghai Disneyland Resort is invested in by The Walt Disney Company and Shanghai Shendi Group. Construction officially began on 8th April 2011 at Chuansha, Pudong New District, Shanghai. It’s estimated opening date is in Spring 2016.

    Shanghai Wild Animal Zoo
    The Shanghai Wild Animal Zoo is the first national level wild animal zoo built by the Shanghai Municipal Peoples Government and China’s State Forestry Administration. It’s located at No.178 South-Six Road, Pudong New District, Shanghai with an area covering of 153 hectares (2300 mu), 35 kilometers away from downtown Shanghai. After an investment of 300 million Yuan, the zoo officially opened on November 18, 1995 and is of the first batch of Chinese AAAAA level tourist attractions.On May 8, 2007, the Shanghai Wild Animal Zoo was approved as a national AAAAA class tourist attraction by the National Tourism Administration.There are more than 200 kinds of rare animals from all around the world represented in the zoo. The number of the animals is over 10 thousand, including giraffes, zebras, antelopes and white rhinoceroses from abroad, and first class nationally protected animals such as giant pandas, snub-nosed monkeys and golden antelopes. There are car-driven and walking visit areas in the zoo.

  • 湖北省博物馆

    The Shanghai Geological Science Museum is also called Moon Bay Gem City. It is located at the Pudong Linkong Agriculture Garden of the Shanghai Pudong International Airport back garden. The museum has a main hall of 3600 square meters, a second hall of more than 1000 square meters and an outdoor rare stone exhibit covering 500 mu. There are nine pavilions: an earth pavilion, earth structure pavilion, mineral rock pavilion, paleontology pavilion, geological landforms pavilion, territorial resources pavilion, gem pavilion, care pavilion and rare stone pavilion.
